Do
Card Check will make it easier to form unions by allowing organizers to circumvent secret ballot elections. We must protect the right to secret ballot elections in labor elections.The only way to stop this undemocratic bill from passing is for everyone who cares about this to voice your opposition to our U.S. Senators and in the media. Here is what you can do today:
1.
Write to
Senators Conrad and Dorgan and let them know that the
Card Check bill, also known as the Employee Free Choice
Act, is bad for workers and bad for business.
2.
Write a
letter or email to the editor of your local newspaper and get the
word out about the damaging effects of this bill.
3.
Call in to
talk radio shows when the topic arises.
4. Tell your
friends, families and neighbors to get moving and
protect workers' rights! |
